Radiogardase® (Prussian blue insoluble capsules)

Radiogardase (Prussian blue insoluble) is indicated for the treatment of patients internally contaminated with radioactive cesium-137, for example from the detonation of a dirty bomb. It is not known whether Radiogardase is effective in treating internal contamination with other radiological materials. Radiogardase is administered to decrease internal radiation exposure from cesium-137 but does not treat the complications of radiation exposure. For complete prescribing information click here.
