Communities

Local Governments, Communities, and emergency preparedness organizations have begun working together to be better prepared in the event of a terrorist attack. The United States government has identified the cities and municipalities at risk for a high profile CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive) attack. We at Heyltex firmly believe that further research and work must be done to increase the awareness, impact and consequence of a RDD (‘Dirty Bombs’). Heyltex has continued to build a nationwide network of subject matter experts and supporters that will help us increase the awareness of Dirty Bombs and their potentially catastrophic impact.

Heyltex believes that synergies between governments, communities, as well as emergency preparedness organizations should be further expanded to better prepare our nation in the event of a terror attack involving a RDD.

Local governments & communities should not rely solely on the Federal Government as a first responder. Instead, community leaders and government officials in their respective homeland security departments, public health departments, and finance committees must take the necessary steps to be prepared at all times. Local Hospitals, including Level one and two trauma centers, temporary facilities, and local communities should plan ahead regarding stockpiling and distribution plans during a major regional emergency situation.

Heyltex has specific expertise in pharmaceutical antidotes applicable to the homeland security community. Heyltex continues its nationwide effort to raise awareness of the impact a RDD attack may have on our nation and communities.
